RSPCA Million Paws Walk on Sunday 15th May 2016!!

The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is in its 22nd year and is a great way to raise money for animals in need.

The Million Paws Walk is an incredible day out for all animal lovers. But it’s more than just a regular walk! Tens of thousands of people and their four-legged companions all across Australia take part in this fantastic event every year, joining together to fight animal cruelty.

The Million Paws Walk will take place on Sunday, 15th May 2016, and will be held in 20 different locations across New South Wales, meaning you’re sure to find a location near you! The walk is RSPCA NSW’s biggest annual event, and money raised through activities on the day, donations, merchandise sales, and online fundraising is critical in supporting RSPCA NSW’s work. Your generous efforts assist with the care of more than 35,000 animals who enter the shelters each and every year.

The RSPCA NSW cares for and protects our state’s neglected, abused, injured, and strayed animals every year. Last year, a staggering 46,558 animals came to the RSPCA NSW for help. The RSPCA is NOT an agency of the Australian Government and therefore relies on the generosity of the community to continue its vital daily work. Along with shelters, volunteer branches and Inspectors, they also fund an education team that visits schools, universities, and community groups to educate the importance of treating all living things with kindness.
